Training fees for EFZ & EBA
Trainees in the hotel and catering sectors can apply for a one-off training grant to cover the cost of their initial equipment. The grant can be used for teaching materials or work equipment (e.g. workwear, kitchen knives, shoes, teaching materials including learning software, laptop).

Requirements for direct application
- The trainee works at a training company affiliated with HotellerieSuisse and attends a cantonal vocational school once a week, or the trainee attends vocational school at a hotel school operated by HF Thun
- The applicant or the applicant’s legal guardian is in need of financial assistance and cannot afford to purchase the initial set of instructional materials for the vocational school and/or work equipment for the company, which must be acquired as part of the training. (Financial circumstances are insufficient to cover training and living expenses.)
- Signing the consent form
- Read and accept the privacy policy
