Scholarship at Thun Hotel Management School
Students can apply for a Tschumi scholarship of up to CHF 12,000 to study at the Thun Hotel Management School towards a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management (HF).

Requirements for direct application
- I am a student at HF Thun pursuing a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HF) (currently enrolled or definitively admitted)
- I am a Swiss citizen or a citizen of another country who has resided in Switzerland for at least 5 years prior to the start of the program and am enrolled at HF Thun at the time the scholarship is awarded.
- I confirm that the HotellerieSuisse scholarships / Tschumi scholarships already paid out,
- which I received as part of my HF and FH-level training at the Thun School of Hotel Management, Passugg,
- and Lausanne, have not yet reached a total of CHF 12,000.
- I confirm that both my own income and—where applicable—my parents’ income are considered low and can be verified by current tax records.
- (My financial circumstances are insufficient to cover the costs of education and living expenses.)
- Signing of the Declaration of Consent
- Read and accept the Privacy Policy
Required Documents
- EFZ qualification, Matura certificate or a transcript of your final semester at HF Thun
- Confirmation from the tax authorities regarding taxable income as per the direct federal tax assessment (students and parents)
- If not a Swiss citizen: copy of your residence permit
- If available: evidence of outstanding achievement that benefits the industry, supported by a detailed reference from a referee (e.g. employer, teacher, vocational trainer). This information may influence the selection process.
